Whitewood Up and Active, originally scheduled to conclude at the end of last month will continue for at least another 2 weeks. To ensure that all residents have a safe, comfortable and inviting place to get exercise the community centre will continue to be open from 8:30am to 11:30am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. While the ice may be gone the facility is still here for your use!
With the ice out at the community centre I want to give a quick word of thanks to all of our community volunteers, coaches and officials who made our winter season a success! Now with the ice is out comes the time for summer maintenance so if you have any ideas or suggestions for small projects to make our community centre even better please drop me a quick email (matt@townofwhitewood.ca).
Until next week,
Matt Bahm
