VISION: WAFF is committed to building healthier lives by supporting family activities/programs within our community.

MISSION: WAFF is a non-profit, community directed organization that promotes family activities/ programs leading toward acceptance, inclusion and healthy lifestyle choices.

Whitewood Action For Families offers a daily nutritious breakfast program for students ages 6 – 18. We also strive to provide inexpensive community based after school and weekend programs specifically targeting vulnerable children and families. Our programs offer many activities for all ages to enjoy. Examples of such program are: Muffin Makers, Kids Can Cook, Knitting Club, Little Gardeners, and a Summer Day Camp Program. We also support adult learning by hosting health related workshops such as ASIST, safeTALK and Baby Car Seat Clinics. WAFF endeavours to work in partnership with community and regional organizations such as, Destination Whitewood, Whitewood Town Council, Parks and Recreation, Regional Kids First and Rural Health Promotions. Whitewood Action For Families is gratefully for the support received from community volunteers, local businesses and the following organizations:
